Overview
Summit Leads is a lead generation and distribution company. We collect, process, and distribute consumer lead data in the Home Improvement and MVA / Personal Injury verticals. Our business model involves matching consumer inquiries with service providers, aggregators, and lead-buying companies through real-time lead distribution. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information in connection with our lead distribution services.
Information we collect
We collect the following types of information:
Consumer Contact Information: When consumers submit inquiries for home improvement services or legal services related to personal injury, we collect names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and other contact details.
Inquiry and Lead Details: We collect information about the consumer's inquiry, including project type, service needs, urgency, property details, accident information, injury details, and other relevant context that helps match the inquiry to appropriate service providers.
Technical Data: We collect IP addresses, browser information, device identifiers, cookies, and other technical data when consumers interact with forms, landing pages, or websites operated by us or our partners.
Information from Lead Generation Partners: We receive consumer lead data from third-party lead generators, suppliers, and marketing partners who collect this information on our behalf or supply leads to our distribution network.
How we collect information
We collect information through the following methods:
Direct Collection: When consumers fill out forms on websites, landing pages, or advertising campaigns that we operate or manage.
From Lead Generation Partners and Suppliers: We receive consumer lead data from third-party lead generators, marketing partners, and suppliers who collect consumer inquiries and provide them to our distribution network.
Through Advertising and Landing Pages: We collect information when consumers respond to online advertising, click on ads, or submit forms on landing pages operated by us or our partners.
How we use information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Lead Distribution: To match consumer inquiries with service providers, contractors, attorneys, aggregators, and other buyers in our network based on geography, service type, and other matching criteria.
Service Operation: To operate, maintain, and improve our lead distribution platform, including real-time ping/post delivery, filtering, routing, and quality control.
Communication: To communicate with buyers, suppliers, and partners about leads, service performance, payment, and other business matters.
Analytics and Improvement: To analyze lead quality, conversion rates, and service performance to improve our matching algorithms and distribution systems.
How we share and sell information
This is the core function of our business: Summit Leads is a lead distribution company. We share and sell consumer lead information to third-party buyers as part of our lead distribution service. This includes:
Lead Buyers: We sell consumer lead data to aggregators, lead-buying companies, marketing agencies, service providers, contractors, attorneys, and other businesses who purchase leads in the Home Improvement and MVA / Personal Injury verticals. When a consumer submits an inquiry, their contact information and inquiry details are transmitted in real time to one or more buyers in our network who match the consumer's service needs and geographic location.
Real-Time Distribution: Lead data is typically shared with buyers within seconds or minutes of collection through real-time ping/post delivery. A single consumer inquiry may be shared with multiple buyers depending on the distribution configuration.
Service Providers and Processors: We may share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our platform, including hosting providers, analytics services, and payment processors.
Consumers who submit inquiries through forms connected to our distribution network should expect that their contact information will be shared with and contacted by service providers, and that this sharing is the intended purpose of the inquiry submission.
Consent and TCPA compliance
Leads distributed through Summit Leads are collected with consumer consent. When consumers submit inquiries through forms on websites, landing pages, or advertising campaigns, they are presented with consent language that discloses that their information will be shared with service providers and that they may be contacted by phone, email, or text message.
We require our lead generation partners and suppliers to collect leads in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable consent requirements. We expect that consumer consent is documented, that opt-in language is clear, and that leads are lawfully obtained. However, buyers are responsible for conducting their own compliance verification and ensuring that their contact practices comply with TCPA, state telemarketing laws, and Do Not Call regulations.
Consumer rights and choices
