Home improvement leads for sale to aggregators and buying desks

Home improvement leads for sale from Summit Leads cover roofing, bathroom remodeling, window replacement, flooring, siding and gutters. Buyers set filters and caps per vertical and receive matching leads by real-time ping/post. Leads are exclusive by default, with shared delivery on request, and each carries TCPA consent with a consent certificate. Summit checks for an active supplier in your states before a test.

Where to buy home improvement leads

Operators who buy home improvement leads at volume have three routes. Generate your own traffic, which gives full control but ties up media budget and a compliance team. Buy direct from individual publishers, which works until one publisher's volume drops or its consent capture changes. Or buy through a brokerage that aggregates several sources, applies the same checks to all of them and delivers through one connection.

Summit Leads is the third route. We run a ping/post marketplace: suppliers send leads in, each lead is checked against the filters of every buyer in that vertical, and qualifying leads are offered to buyers in real time. For your desk that means one integration, one set of documentation standards and one point of contact for every home improvement vertical you buy. Roofing desks, for example, can buy roofing leads by real-time ping/post through the same connection.

Whichever route you choose, judge the supply on the same points: which sources produced the lead, how consent was captured and whether you can retrieve the record, how quickly the lead reaches you after the homeowner submits, and how many other buyers receive it. Our lead quality standards for buyers set out the questions to put to any supplier, including us.

How real-time ping/post delivery works

When a homeowner submits a form, the supplier posts the lead into our system. We send a ping without the personal contact details to every buyer whose filters match: vertical, geography, project type and any other fields you set. Your system responds with an accept or a decline. The buyer that wins the lead receives the full post with contact data the moment it qualifies. If your system declines, the lead moves on, and you pay only for leads that match your filters.

Real time matters most where the homeowner collects several quotes at once, such as roof replacement after a storm, and every lead arrives that way, one at a time. For the mechanics of pings, bids and posts, read ping post explained.

Filters and caps you control

  • Vertical and project type, for example roof replacement versus repair.
  • Geography: the states and areas your clients actually serve, set per vertical.
  • Homeowner confirmation and the project fields your clients need.
  • Daily caps per vertical, so volume stays inside what your clients can absorb.
  • Delivery method: real-time ping/post to your endpoint, or your preferred integration.

Delivery options

MethodHow it worksWhen it fits
Ping/postMatching buyers receive a ping with partial, non-identifying data. You bid or decline, and the winning bid receives the full lead by post. You want to price each lead before you buy it. Real time is the default, because a lead is worth most in the minutes after the consumer submits it.
Direct postYou set a fixed price for leads that match your criteria. Matching leads are posted to you without a ping or an auction step. You have steady demand and a known price per lead, and would rather not run bidding logic.
BatchLeads are delivered in batches instead of real-time posts. Batches are set up per partner.Your systems cannot take real-time posts.

Field formats, response windows and testing are covered in how the ping/post integration works.

Quality signals and consent documentation

A home improvement lead is only as useful as the fields it carries. The baseline is full name, a phone number in a valid format, email, the full property address with ZIP code, homeowner confirmation, the service requested and the consent record. Each trade then adds its own routing fields: storm damage versus elective work and insurance claim status for roofing, project scope for bathrooms, window count for windows, material preference for flooring. We run validation and intent checks before delivery, so leads missing the basics do not reach your endpoint.

Consent is the other half. Leads are captured with TCPA consent, and a usable consent record shows the opt-in language naming the service category, a timestamp at the moment of submission, the IP address of the submitting device and the URL of the page where consent was captured. Ask for the record behind any lead you buy, and test retrieval on your first batch. Our guide to TCPA compliance for home service leads covers the rules in detail.

What drives the cost of home improvement leads

We do not publish prices, because the same trade prices differently from one program to the next. The factors that move cost are consistent, though. Ticket size: a full roof or bathroom remodel supports more acquisition spend than a small repair. Intent: a storm damage request with an open insurance claim is a different lead from someone browsing ideas. Competition: markets with many contractors bidding push cost up, and season shifts demand in exterior trades. Filters: the tighter they are, the fewer leads qualify and the more each is worth.

Distribution is the last factor. A lead routed to one buyer costs more than one shared among a capped number of buyers, and each model suits different client programs. The explainers on exclusive vs shared roofing leads and exclusive vs shared bathroom renovation leads walk through the trade-offs. Leads from Summit Leads are exclusive by default: each lead is sold to one buyer. Shared delivery is available if a buyer asks for it. Rates are discussed on a call, and terms are agreed during onboarding.

How onboarding works

1

Tell us what you buy

Verticals, geographies, filters, daily caps and the delivery method your system uses.

2

We configure and test

We map your filters, connect your endpoint and run test posts until both sides agree on the fields.

3

Go live and scale caps

Go-live timing is confirmed during onboarding, after integration testing. Caps rise as your clients grow.
