For Buyers

Buy Home Service Leads: exclusive homeowner requests by real-time ping/post

Summit Leads sells home service leads to aggregators, buying desks, appointment-setting companies and large networks. Leads are delivered by real-time ping/post and are exclusive by default, with shared delivery on request. Every lead carries a TrustedForm consent certificate. You pay only for leads delivered that match your filters, with no setup fee and no monthly fee, and new buyers start with a small test volume.

This page covers the home services trades Summit sells, who buys these leads, what comes with each lead, how ping/postPing/postA real-time selling method in which a lead is pinged to buyers with partial data, buyers bid, and the winning bidder receives the full lead by post. Glossary delivery works and how to start. Each trade has its own buyer page with the requests, fields and filters behind its leads. For leads worked after the real-time window, see overflow home services leads.

Which home service leads you can buy

Summit sells homeowner requests in these home services trades. Each trade’s buyer page explains its requests, fields and filters:

A buyer can take one trade or several, in the states they choose. Filters and caps are set per trade, so each campaign receives only the requests it can work.

Who buys home service leads from Summit

Summit Leads is a business-to-business supplierSupplierAny company that provides leads to a buyer, whether it generates them itself or brokers them from publishers. Glossary and does not provide services to consumers. Its home service lead buyers are:

  • Aggregators that route homeowner requests to contractor clients across trades and states.
  • Buying desks that run several home services campaigns and fill them from more than one source.
  • Appointment-setting companies that call homeowners, confirm the project and book the visit for a contractor.
  • Large networks that buy, route or resell leads to fill client campaigns.

How Summit works with desks in general is on aggregators and buying desks. Resellers can also read lead resellers.

What comes with each home service lead

Each lead carries the full contact data, the lead fields for its trade and the consent record:

What a home service lead includes
Part of the leadWhat it contains
Contact detailsThe homeowner’s name, phone number and email address.
PropertyThe street address with city, state and ZIP code, so the buyer can confirm the job sits inside a service area.
Trade fieldsThe qualifier answers for the trade, such as project type, timeframe and homeownership, as answered on the form.
Consent recordA TrustedForm consent certificate, with the opt-in language shown, the timestamp, the IP address and the page URL where consent was given.

The sample leads pages list each field, trade by trade, with invented values. The full field specification is sent during onboarding. For the consent rules behind the record, see TCPA compliance for home service leads.

How ping/post delivery works

Home service leads are sold in Summit’s real-time ping/post auction, so each request reaches a buyer seconds after the homeowner submits it:

  1. Ping

When a homeowner submits a request, Summit sends a ping without contact details to every buyer whose filters and remaining daily caps match it.

  2. Bid or pass

Your system replies to each ping with a bid or a pass within the response window agreed at setup. A reply after the window counts as a pass.

  3. Post

The winning bid receives the full lead by post, with the contact details, trade fields and consent certificateConsent certificateA record, often produced by a third-party consent certificate provider, that shows how and when a consumer gave consent on a web form. Glossary.

  4. Accept or reject

Your endpointEndpointThe web address in a buyer's system that receives pings and posts. Glossary accepts or rejects the post and returns a response, so both sides have the same record of what was sold.

Leads are exclusive by default: each lead is sold to one buyer. Shared delivery is available on request. See how the ping/post integration works and exclusive vs shared leads.

What you get in writing

Before the first lead is delivered, these points are set out by email and confirmed in writing:

  • Exclusivity. Home service leads are exclusive by default: each lead is sold to one buyer. Shared delivery is available on request.
  • The consent record. Every lead carries a TrustedForm consent certificate, so your team can see how and when the homeowner gave consent.
  • A small test order first. New buyers start with a small test volume so their team can check contact rates and quality before caps are raised.
