This page is for gutter companies, home exterior services and the aggregators, lead-generation companies and buying desks that place gutter requests with them. It covers the gutter requests you can buy, why gutter work is filtered on its own, how delivery works and how to start. For siding and gutters together, see siding and gutter leads; for siding on its own, see siding leads.
Gutter requests you can buy
Gutter leads are homeowner requests for work on a home’s gutters, captured on a web form with consent to be contacted. Each campaign takes only the request types it wants:
| Request type | What the homeowner wants |
|---|---|
| New gutters | Gutter installation, including seamless gutters. |
| Gutter replacement | New gutters in place of old or failed ones. |
| Gutter repair | Repair of an existing gutter system. |
| Gutter guards | Guards added to keep gutters clear. |
| Storm damage | Wind and hail damage requests, with insurance claim status where the source captures it. |
Homeowners who want gutters together with siding, fascia and soffit work are bundled exterior projects, sold on siding and gutter leads.
Why gutter leads are filtered on their own
Gutter work attracts its own buyer segment, gutter companies and home exterior services, and is often a separate trade from siding. If a source only sells gutter work inside a larger siding or roofing request, a gutter company can end up paying for jobs it does not do. On Summit’s marketplace, gutters, siding and bundled exterior projects are separate options, so a gutter company can take gutter leads only. Filters and caps are set per campaign:
- Trade: gutters only, or bundled exterior projects as well.
- Request type: new gutters, replacement, repair or gutter guards.
- Storm damage and insurance claim status.
- Homeowner status and timeline.
- States or ZIP codes you buy in.
- Daily caps per campaign, and hourly or day-of-week delivery limits.
Each lead also carries the homeowner’s name, phone number, email address and property address. You can ask for a cap or filterFilterA rule that decides which leads a buyer is offered, based on fields such as vertical, sub-type, state, ZIP code, homeownership or accident details. Glossary change by email at any time.
How gutter leads are delivered
Gutter leads are sold by real-time ping/postPing/postA real-time selling method in which a lead is pinged to buyers with partial data, buyers bid, and the winning bidder receives the full lead by post. Glossary. When a homeowner submits a request, your system receives a ping without contact details, bids or passes, and the winning bid receives the full lead by post with the TrustedForm consent certificate. Demand is usually strongest when the weather allows outdoor work, and storms create short bursts of repair and replacement requests, so set caps you can raise quickly when crews are available.
Leads are exclusive by default: each lead is sold to one buyer. Shared delivery is available on request. See how the ping/post integration works and exclusive vs shared leads.
