Bathroom buyers tend to ask one question before any other: which kind of bathroom job is this? This page answers it with the project field and its most common values, alongside every other field on Summit’s bathroom remodeling leads. The exact formats are set in the field specification shared during onboarding.
What a sample bathroom remodeling lead contains
Bathroom remodeling has the shortest list of the home service sample pages: there is no county, no session length and no test flag. The groups appear in the same order as in the example lead further down.
Contact fields
| Field | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
first_name | The consumer’s first name, as entered on the form. | Jordan |
last_name | The consumer’s last name. | Example |
email | The consumer’s email address. | jordan.example@example.com |
phone | The consumer’s phone number. | 555-0142 |
Location fields
The street address is the address of the home with the bathroom. With the city, state and ZIP code, it tells a buyer which crew, showroom or client the request belongs to.
| Field | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
zip_code | Five-digit ZIP code. Buyers set coverage down to the ZIP code. | 89101 |
state | Two-letter state code. Buyers filter on it. | NV |
address | Street address of the property the project is for. | 123 Example Street |
city | City. | Las Vegas |
Homeowner and project fields
Four qualifier answers. own_property and purchase_time_frame appear on every home service list; project_type is where bathroom leads differ from the other trades; credit_rating is the consumer’s own estimate of their credit. Where the Example column says examples of values, it lists the answers seen most often, not every answer the form allows.
| Field | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
credit_rating | The consumer’s own estimate of their credit. | Examples of values: Good, Excellent |
own_property | Whether the consumer owns the property. Buyers that work with homeowners only filter on it. | Examples of values: Yes, No |
purchase_time_frame | When the consumer plans to start the project. | Examples of values: Immediately, Within 1 months, 1-3 months, 3+ months |
project_type | The bathroom project the consumer asked about. | Examples of values: Full bathroom, Not Sure, Bathtub/Shower Updates, Bathtub to Shower Conversion, Walk-In Tub Installation, Vanity Replacement, Bathtub Liner/Shower Enclosure, Shower to Bathtub Conversion, Complete Bathroom Remodel |
Consent record fields
| Field | What it is | Example |
|---|---|---|
ip_address | IP address of the device that submitted the form. Part of the consent record. | 192.0.2.44 |
user_agent | The browser and device description sent by the device that submitted the form. | Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 17_5 like Mac OS X) |
landing_page_url | Address of the page where the form was submitted. Part of the consent record. | https://www.example.com/request |
trustedform_cert_url | Link to the TrustedForm certificate for the form session, a third-party record of the submission that a buyer can open and keep. | https://cert.trustedform.com/EXAMPLE |
tcpa_text | The opt-in language the consumer saw next to the submit button. Part of the consent record. | OPT_IN_TEXT_SHOWN_TO_CONSUMER |
jornaya_leadid | The Jornaya LeadiD for the form session, an ID a buyer can use to look up Jornaya’s record of the submission. | EXAMPLE-LEADID |
The project_type field: which bathroom job
The values seen most often in project_type range from a single fixture to the whole room. Examples of values include:
- Walk-In Tub Installation: a walk-in tub, a job that buyers who handle accessibility work look for.
- Bathtub to Shower Conversion and Shower to Bathtub Conversion: swapping one fixture for the other, which can mean moving a drain.
- Bathtub Liner/Shower Enclosure and Bathtub/Shower Updates: work on the existing tub or shower without rebuilding the room.
- Vanity Replacement: a single-fixture job.
- Full bathroom and Complete Bathroom Remodel: the whole room.
- Not Sure: the consumer did not pick a project. Some buyers take these and work out the job on the first call; others leave them out.
Because the ping carries the qualifier answers, a buyer can bid on a conversion and decline a vanity replacement, or the other way round, before it sees who the consumer is.

Filters on bathroom remodeling leads
Bathroom campaigns are filtered on five fields. You send the details, we configure them for the campaign, and you can ask for a change by email at any time.
| Field | What you set | Why it matters for bathroom work |
|---|---|---|
| state and zip_code | The states, or the ZIP codes inside them, where your crews or your clients work. | Plumbing licenses and contract rules for remodeling differ by state. |
| own_property | Homeowners only, or every request. | A remodel is contracted by the owner of the home. |
| purchase_time_frame | How soon the job should start. | Examples of values include Immediately, 1-3 months and 3+ months. |
| project_type | The bathroom jobs you take. | A walk-in tub and a vanity replacement call for different crews and products. |
State rules for bathroom work are set out on each state page, for example Florida bathroom remodeling leads, and every state is linked from bathroom remodeling leads by state. The verticalVerticalThe industry or product category a lead belongs to, such as roofing or car accident. Glossary overview, with onboarding steps, is bathroom remodeling leads.
Consent record fields on a bathroom lead
Six fields make up the consent record on a bathroom remodeling lead: tcpaTCPAThe Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the federal law that governs telemarketing calls and texts, autodialers, prerecorded voice messages and the Do Not Call Registry. Glossary_text, ip_address, user_agent, landing_page_url, trustedform_cert_url and jornaya_leadid. The first four show the opt-in language the consumer saw, the device they used and the page they were on. The last two point to records held by third-party services:
- trustedform_cert_url links to a TrustedForm certificate. TrustedForm records the form session and issues the certificate, which a buyer can open and store with its own records.
- jornaya_leadid is the Jornaya LeadiD, an ID for looking up Jornaya’s record of the same submission.
Consent rules for remodeling and other home service calls are covered in TCPA compliance for home service leads and express written consent. Permitted call hours also differ by state: see telemarketing calling hours by state.
This page is general information, not legal advice. Ask your own counsel whether a lead’s consent record covers the way your team, or your clients, plan to contact the homeowner.
Delivery of bathroom remodeling leads
A bathroom lead is offered by ping first, with the project answers, state and ZIP code but no name, phone, email or address. The post that follows a winning bid carries the full record. Formats, the response window and test traffic are covered on the ping/post integration page.
Companies that sell several home improvement trades, bathrooms among them, can read home improvement companies.
Frequently asked questions
Which bathroom projects show up in the project_type field?
Examples of values include walk-in tub installation, bathtub to shower conversion, shower to bathtub conversion, vanity replacement, bathtub liner or shower enclosure work, and a complete bathroom remodel. They are common answers, not the full list.
Can a buyer leave out bathroom leads where the project is Not Sure?
Project type is a filter, so a campaign can be set to take only the bathroom projects you name. Ask for it when you send your filters, or change it later by email.
Is there a session length or test field on a bathroom remodeling lead?
No. session_length is on the roofing and window replacement lists, and test is on the roofing list only. The bathroom consent record is tcpa_text, ip_address, user_agent, landing_page_url, trustedform_cert_url and jornaya_leadid.
Does a bathroom remodeling lead say whether the consumer owns the home?
Yes. own_property records whether the consumer owns the property, with Yes and No as examples of values. Buyers that work with homeowners only filter on it.
