The Oklahoma Insurance Department notes that the Department of Public Safety enforces the compulsory insurance laws that require financial responsibility, and it describes comparative negligence as a principle of tort law that applies in Oklahoma, with each party's negligence based on its contribution to the accident. Roofing buyers should confirm their contractor clients are registered and ready for the endorsement.
