MVA and home improvement leads in Utah

Utah had 3,538,904 residents in the Census Bureau estimate for July 1, 2025. It is a no-fault state with a statutory threshold for general damages, a four-year limitation period and a fault rule under which a claimant must be less at fault than the defendants. Utah households own their homes at a rate of 70.2%, and the median housing unit dates from 1992. Each point bears on how Utah leads are filtered.

Summit Leads supplies home improvement and MVA leads in all U.S. states, including Utah. Buyers set filters down to the ZIP code. Leads are exclusive by default: each lead is sold to one buyer. Shared delivery is available if a buyer asks for it.

Utah MVA leads: no-fault PIP and the general damages threshold

Utah DMV requires every registered vehicle to carry a policy that includes no-fault, bodily injury and property damage liability coverage throughout the registration period. The Utah Insurance Department refers to this as personal injury protection (no-fault) coverage, required by Utah Code 31A-22-307(2). The claimant's own PIP pays first, whoever caused the crash.

A person covered by PIP may claim general damages, such as pain and suffering, against the other driver only past the threshold in Utah Code 31A-22-309(1)(a): death, dismemberment, permanent disability or permanent impairment based on objective findings, permanent disfigurement, a bone fracture, or medical expenses above an amount set in the statute. A fracture qualifies on its own, which is why injury type and ongoing treatment are useful fields on Utah leads.

Utah Code 78B-5-818(2) lets a person recover from any defendant or group of defendants whose fault, combined with the fault of immune persons and nonparties to whom fault is allocated, exceeds the fault of the person seeking recovery. The claimant must be less at fault than the others; a claimant found half at fault recovers nothing. Liability fields therefore matter on Utah leads.

Utah Code 78B-2-307 sets four years for relief not otherwise provided for by law, the period that governs negligence claims for personal injury in Utah. Four years is a long window, yet buyers still cap accident age, because fresh cases are easier for a law firm to document.

Sub-types, filters and the quality bar are on the MVA leads and car accident leads pages.

Utah home improvement leads: 70.2 percent owners, 1992 housing and DOPL licensing

The Census Bureau puts the Utah owner-occupied housing unit rate at 70.2% for 2020-2024, so most Utah households own their homes. The median year structure built is 1992 in the ACS 5-year estimates for 2020-2024, meaning half of the state's housing units went up in 1992 or later. Buyers often lead with project type (roof repair or replacement, flooring, bathroom renovation, windows, siding and gutters) and then pick the ZIP codes their contractor clients serve.

Utah licenses contractors through the Division of Professional Licensing. Utah Code 58-55-301 requires a person engaged in the construction trades or as a contractor to be licensed before doing that work, unless exempted. Section 58-55-305 exempts, among others, alteration, repair and remodeling jobs below a project-value threshold set in the statute, subject to its conditions. For in-home sales, Utah Code 70C-5-102 gives the buyer the right to cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day after signing an agreement or offer to purchase.

Project types and filters are listed on the home improvement leads and roofing leads pages.

Consent records for Utah leads

Each lead carries its TCPA consent record (opt-in language, timestamp, IP address and page URL), so the record travels with the lead to your system.

Every Utah lead includes a consent record captured to the federal TCPA standard: the opt-in wording, the timestamp, the IP address and the page URL. Buyers that pass Utah leads to law firms or contractors can include the record, so the party that calls the consumer keeps its own proof of consent.

Our guide to state telemarketing laws compares the states that add rules on top of the TCPA.

Utah lead buying questions

Is Utah a no-fault state?

Yes. Utah requires no-fault personal injury protection on every registered vehicle, along with bodily injury and property damage liability coverage.

When can a Utah accident victim sue for pain and suffering?

Under Utah Code 31A-22-309(1)(a), after death, dismemberment, permanent disability or impairment based on objective findings, permanent disfigurement, a bone fracture, or medical expenses above the statutory threshold.

How long do Utah accident victims have to file suit?

Four years under Utah Code 78B-2-307 for relief not otherwise provided for by law. Buyers still set an accident age limit well inside that period.

Can a partly at-fault Utah claimant recover?

Only from defendants whose combined fault exceeds the claimant's own, under Utah Code 78B-5-818(2). A claimant who is half at fault or more recovers nothing.

Do Utah home improvement contractors need a license?

Yes, unless exempt. Utah Code 58-55-301 requires a license from the Division of Professional Licensing, and 58-55-305 exempts small repair and remodeling jobs below a threshold set in the statute.

Can we buy Utah leads by ZIP code?

Yes. Summit Leads supplies home improvement and MVA leads in all U.S. states, including Utah, and buyers choose the states or ZIP codes they buy in.
